It’s not about where you are, but your reasons for being there.
— Utah Phillips

With original songs rooted in her Honky Tonk heroes of the past and tone remeniscent of a young Emmylou Harris, Michelle and company (JohnDavis / Electric Guitar, Vocals, Harmonica & Bronk Onion / Upright bass, Vocals) deliver a performance that feels both raw yet refined. Declining her recruitment from NBC's The Voice, Michelle traded bright lights for staying in dirty motels, and a chance to serve the song with her band. Currently working on their new album with no shortage of new material after a long and eventful year, they maintain a heavy touring schedule and continue to showcase their music regionally with lush harmony and ample twang. Their first full album release is scheduled for Spring 2018.
